Reading the local library from A to Z

About

My book shelves at home are full, my bank account is almost empty and my local library has been renovated.

Several years ago in a different state, a wonderful local library and woeful public transport service combined to give me reason to take a book everywhere. Between flirtations with the non-fiction and special interest sections, I started reading the fiction shelves alphabetically from A.

From memory I reached H before I (a) moved interstate, or (b) library staff clicked that they were dealing with a freak and cancelled my library card, or (c) I became scarily obsessive and kept re-checking shelves for books that were on loan when I did the first scan.

This time I’m going to include the romance and obscure science fiction that I avoided assiduously.
